Everline Achieng has completed specialized training in research ethics, human subject protection, vicarious trauma, and quantitative and qualitative research methods. She is also certified in HIPAA compliance and conflict of interest (CITI) for public health research. With a strong background in community engagement, Everline brings valuable skills in research design, facilitation, adaptive learning, and youth mentorship.

She is a member of the Sauti Mashinani Research Lab and Anga Center, where she contributes to community-based mental health and gender-focused interventions. As a facilitator in a study with the lab, Everline led group sessions aimed at reducing intimate partner violence among women in Nairobi’s informal settlements. She applied trauma-informed approaches and ethical practices learned through intensive training, working closely with research teams to monitor the impact of the interventions.

Beyond research, Everline is actively involved in mentoring school-aged girls, conducting follow-ups with orphans and vulnerable children, and promoting peacebuilding within her community. She is a fast learner, a strong team player, and thrives in dynamic environments with minimal supervision.

Fluent in both English and Swahili, Everline is committed to creating lasting change through grassroots solutions and inclusive community engagement. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, swimming, and traveling—activities that reflect her vibrant energy and love for connecting with others.
